ABOUT JASON "RIC"
About Jason Ricafranca. The truth is that "ME" is made up of different "THEYS". I wouldn't be who I am today without several people who have not only supported me in my life, but also have invested so much of themselves for the sake of others... You can find more about some of the major influencers in my life below.
My passion for photography began in high school the moment my dad allowed me to use one of his cameras. I took pictures of people, things, and because my first camera was digital, I took pictures of EVERYTHING. Slowly I began to fall in love with the way that light worked with different subjects. I was captivated by the ability to freeze a moment in time and re-live the moment through a picture. A few years later I picked up my first SLR... for my wife, Annie. It was one of those presents that husbands buy that was occasionally "commandeered" by the giver of the gift (sorry Annie!). From there, I started to hit the books, read articles, and followed several photographers on weddings and event shoots. After several years of studying and training with other photographers I decided to start my own company. JasonRic Photography was established in 2010 with the passion to capture weddings, portraits, art & life in moments that our clients and families can re-live over and over again. this is my family
...ANNIE...I met Annie at Biola University sometime in 2004, we became friends as we taught and served teenagers at our local church for several years. I fell in love with her before we started dating because of her smile and gracious heart.
In March of 2009 I married my college sweetheart. And she's taught me so much about life, compassion, and selflessness. God creates beautiful things and I got a huge example of that with Annie. |
